2012 CATOOSA OPEN WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

Place:                                     Catoosa High School ACTIVITIY CENTER 2000 S. Cherokee, Catoosa OK 74015

Weigh In:              Weigh in Friday November 9th 4:30-6:30pm for Div V and VI. Weigh in for Div I thru IV  Friday 6-8 pm or Saturday 6-8am.  Must be in singlet to weigh in.  NO LATE WEIGH INS.  1 pound weight allowance in division V, and a 5 pound weight allowance in division VI only.  Weigh in at Catoosa Wrestling Room (Back of Catoosa Activity Center).

 

Entry Fees:            $15.00 per entry.  Make checks payable to Catoosa Wrestling.  Coaches must collect fees and pay as a team at weigh in.  Each wrestler entered must be paid for, even if he/she is a no show.

 

Gate:                    Adults $4.00                Students $3.00            5 and under free        

 

Deadline:               All entries must be received by 9pm Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 via OKWA website.  Brackets will be done Thursday November 8th so no changes will be allowed.

                                Wrestlers may enter 2 divisions, only 1 weight per division.  Birth dates as of Sept 1, 2012.

 

Coach passes:       1-5 entries: 1 pass                                               6-10 entries: 2 passes

                                11-15 entries: 3 passes                                      16+ entries: 4 passes

                               

Format:                 Double elimination.  Three man brackets will wrestle round robin.  We reserve the right to combine weights to make full brackets if needed.  All wrestlers must have shoelaces taped.

 

Awards:                 Div 1-4 individuals 1st – 4th place trophies/ Div 5 & 6 Medals

 

** Note:                ONLY BANDED COACHES, WORKERS AND WRESTLERS ARE ALLOWED ON GYM FLOOR.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
