Weigh In: Friday Nov. 2 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and Saturday Nov. 3 from 7:00 – 8:00 am. At Keys High School Wrestling Room.

 

Wrestling Begins: 9:00 am

 

Entry Fee: $10.00 (Must be paid before weighing in) Cash or Checks only (Make checks payable to: Keys Cougar Takedown Club)

Weights: A wrestler may enter into two different divisions, but not at different weights in the same division. (Birthday cutoff September 1, 2012)

 

Div. I (6 & Under): 37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 60, 66, HWT*

Div. II (8 & Under): 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 83, 90, 105, HWT*

Div. III (10 & Under): 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 131, HWT*

Div. IV (12 & Under): 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, HWT*

Div. V (15 & Under): 80, 89, 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 140, 150, 162, 175, 200, HWT*

 

Periods: (1) 3 minute period

                        Most Takedowns during this time wins the match

                        If a wrestler gets six takedowns ahead, it will be considered a “tech fall”.

Overtime – wrestle until a wrestler gets a takedown. If after 3 minutes, a takedown has not occurred, the referee will choose the most aggressive wrestler as the winner.

 

Wrestling: Round Robin brackets. If necessary brackets will be combined. If there is more than 6 wrestlers in a bracket a double elimination bracket will be used.

 

Awards:         Top 4 placers at each weight class receive medals – given following the completion of each bracket. If there is 6 or more in a bracket then top 4 receive medals. If there are no more than 5 then top 3 will receive medals.

Coaches Pass: 1 coaches pass for every 5 entries. Extra floor passes $20.00 ( Only 2 coaches per corner per wrestler.)
