Novice Tournament

When: Saturday November 7, 2009 Approx. 12:00pm following the conclusion of the open session.

Where: Blanchard High School Gym. 400 N. Harrison

Entry Deadline: Wed. November 4, 2009 by 10:00 PM. NO LATE ENTRIES!!

Entry Fee: $13.00 per wrestler per division. Make checks payable to Lions Wrestling.

Gate Fee: $3.00

Weigh-in: Friday Nov. 6^th 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, or Saturday November 7^th 6:30 am to 8:00 am at the High School Gym. No Saturday afternoon weigh- ins.

Division I (6 & Under): 37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 60, 66, HWT*

Division II (8 & Under): 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 83, 90, 105, HWT*

Division III (10 & Under): 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 131, HWT*

Division IV (12 & Under): 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, HWT*

Awards: Awards will be given for 1^st through 4^th place.

There will be no challenges for 2^nd place

1. Birth Certificates will be required upon request.

2. Ages will be considered as of September 1, 2009.

3. This is a double elimination tournament.

4. We will use High School Federation Rules except for no headgear required and no one-hour rest.

5. Brackets will be made Friday November 21, 2009. We reserve the right to combine weights if necessary.

6. Any age protest must be made prior to the start of the tournament.

7. Referee decisions will be final.

8. All participants must have their own INSURANCE. The City of Blanchard and Blanchard Public Schools will not be responsible for accidents, injuries, or theft.
