Open & Novice Divisions

ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per entry (No Gate Entry Fee)

ENTRY DEADLINE: 10:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

*Only the first 500 entries will be accepted. Please return your entries early to insure that you get in!

Coaches please rate you wrestlers A, B, C, D for OPEN Division.

Novice: Any 1^st or 2^nd year wrestler who has not placed 1^st or 2^nd in ANY open tournament with 6 or more wrestlers in their bracket. The wrestler counts as 1. May not be a novice for more than two years.

Wrestlers from the same club will be split where possible.

WEIGH-IN: Saturday, December 5th – 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. Morning Session and 11:30 am-12:30 pm afternoon session.

Wrestlers must weigh in with singlet on.

COACHES MEETING: 8:00 a.m. weigh in area

SPLIT TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. NOVICE (6&U, 8&U, 10&U), 14&U

Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. 6&U, 8&U, 10&U, 12&U OPEN DIVISIONS

RULES:

• This is a Sanctioned event. All wrestlers must have a valid USAW card.

• High School rules with Kansas Kid's modification.

• Age as of September 1, 2008

• Time Periods: 6&U, 8&U, 10&U: 1-1-1 / 12 & under, 14 & under, 1.5-1.5-1.5

• We reserve the right to combine weights to provide competition where weights permit

• Best 2 out of 3 for any 2-man brackets. Round robin for any 3-4-5 man brackets

• Headgear must be worn.
