ENTRY FEES: $15.00 will be pre-entry and
prepaid. Entries must be entered on the OKWA website.
Entry deadline is Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. NO LATE ENTRIES.

WEIGH-IN: Saturday, February 13th: ALL DIVISIONS – 6:00 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.
Saturday, February 13th: Divisions II & IV – 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Weigh-in will be held in the high school wrestling room (located on the east side of the new football stadium)
SESSION TIMES:
Divisions I, III and V: 8:30 a.m. until completion
Divisions II & IV: NOT BEFORE 2:00 p.m. until completion
MATCH TIME/FORMAT:
Div I: 1 – 1 – 1 minute – All matches
Div. II – V: 1 ½ - 1 ½ - 1 ½ minutes – Championship matches
Div. II – V: 1 – 1 – 1 minute – Consolation matches
Div. II – V: 1 ½ - 1 ½ - 1 ½ minutes – Consolation Finals (including 5th & 6th place)
Overtime: 1 minute period sudden death; if no score, then NFHS rules apply
AWARDS:
Individual awards will be presented for 1st through 6th. Team awards will be presented for 1st through 3rd in all divisions. All 1st – 6th placers in each weight will count toward the team’s total points.
Points are as follows: 1st = 12 pts., 2nd = 9 pts., 3rd = 6 pts., 4th = 4 pts., 5th – 2 pts., 6th = 1 pt.
COACHES PASSES: Each team will be issued coaches’ passes at the seeding meeting:
- 1-5 wrestlers = 1 pass
- 6-10 wrestlers = 2 passes
- 11-15 wrestlers = 3 passes
- 16-20 wrestlers = 4 passes
- Additional floor passes may be purchased for $25.00
STATE ENTRY FEES:
Must be paid at Regionals by one team check or cash payment. The club is responsible for payment for all qualifiers (Division I-V, whether they are or are not planning to attend State).
PROTEST AND MISCONDUCT COMMITTEE: A committee will handle any protest or misconduct that occurs at the Regional Tournament. $25.00 cash will be posted for each protest. If ruled against, the money will go to the Regional Tournament Funds and if ruled for, the money will be returned
RULES:
- No coaches or parents are allowed in weigh-in rooms (unless requested by tournament official)
- All heavy-weights must weigh in
- Hair and fingernail code will be enforced
- All contestants must weigh in wearing an unmodified competition singlet
- There will be no weight allowances (except for a 2 lb. weight allowance in Division V)
- There will be no re-bracketing for no-shows or overweight
- Double elimination and NO challenges for second place
- A no-show counts as a loss
- CHILD ABUSE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
